For the whole of next week, I will be engaged in a marketing shoot for TMC academy. Objective: to have 30-50 usable shots to be published in their student guides, websites, and other relevant marketing peripherals such as banners and ads. That's quite a challenge for a job at this scale.
the beauty of it, I'm not being paid that much. So even if I can't deliver a lot of money shots, I can always learn from it. And the really good thing from it, is that I can add a bunch of the money shots (if available) to my website, portfolio.
to prep, I spent some time yesterday cleaning up my sensor, lenses and other essentials I might use for the shoot. It's nice to know I have quite a lot of gear to get the shoot done. All this means nothing if I don't get the shot though.
I guess this is the challenge all young budding photographers face, to put our gears through the trenches and get that one shot where everyone goes Wow!
First location will be Haji Lane. Will update more as the shoot goes on and put in some behind the scenes pics! Stay tuned..
